Morton Industries Welcomes Superior Tube Products: A New Chapter in Precision Fabrication

At Morton Industries, growth isn’t just about scale — it’s about strategic partnerships that elevate quality, capability, and customer experience.

At Morton Industries, growth isn’t just about scale — it’s about strategic partnerships that elevate quality, capability, and customer experience. That’s why we’re proud to announce the acquisition of Superior Tube Products (STP), a respected leader in precision tube fabrication.

As of January 1, 2026, all STP operations will be fully integrated into Morton Industries’ facilities in Morton, Illinois, and Dunlap, Tennessee. This transition marks more than an operational milestone — it’s an investment in the future of precision manufacturing.

Why This Acquisition Matters

By bringing STP into the Morton Industries family, we’re enhancing our ability to serve OEMs across key industries — including agriculture, HVAC, construction, and industrial equipment — with even greater value. STP’s legacy of quality perfectly complements our vertically integrated approach to manufacturing.

“This strengthens our ability to serve both existing and new customers with a wider range of high-quality, precision-formed components and welded assemblies,” said Christopher Ober, President & CEO of Morton Industries.

What Customers Can Expect

The integration of STP expands Morton Industries’ already robust capabilities. Here’s what that means for our customers:

  • Expanded CNC and large OD tube bending capacity

  • Advanced 5-axis and in-line laser cutting

  • Robotic and manual welding for versatile project needs

  • In-house tooling, fixture design, and engineering support

  • Faster turnaround times and increased production scalability

Whether you’ve worked with STP in the past or are new to Morton Industries, these upgrades represent a new level of service and efficiency.

“We’re not only preserving the quality our customers expect — we’re elevating it,” said Andrew Rommann, former President of STP and now Vice President of Strategic Transformation at Morton Industries.

Building the Future — Together

This is a bold step forward for both companies — and for every customer we serve. By combining STP’s specialized expertise with Morton’s modern facilities, investment in technology, and team-first culture, we’re unlocking new opportunities across the board.

We look forward to showing you what’s next — and delivering the same trusted quality with even greater precision, speed, and scale.
